Soul Train creator and host Don Cornelius was found dead in his Los Angeles home yesterday of an apparent suicide. The news came as a huge shock to the legions of people that he had influenced, and as a way to celebrate the life of Don Cornelius and the impact that he had on popular culture, VH1 will be re-airing our 2010 Rock Doc, Soul Train: The Hippest Trip In America tomorrow night (that’s Friday, February 3) at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The doc is narrated by Terrence Howard, and includes feature performances and great moments from the show, as well as behind-the-scenes stories and memories from the cast and crew.
