On Mama Jones’ World tonight, we go inside Nancy’s kitchen to see what Mama’s cookin’ and how she does it. On the menu: collard greens, mac and cheese, and Mama’s steak. The secret to all of Mama’s cooking involves coaxing the ingredients to behave the way you want, using oil to keep things “slimy and lovely” like when you’re making love, and lightly seasoning your ingredients with the lingering scent of Newport Lights. Once your meal is done cooking? Voila. Like buttah.
